Record eight weeks for Fresh Air

Untitled 69 Record eight weeks for Fresh AirFresh Air experienced a record-breaking May and June, printing 1.7 million prints during that period.

The work carried out was predominantly for the music merchandise industry for artists such as Adele, Justin Bieber, Iron Maiden and Aerosmith.

This equated to £3.2m in sales.

The print shop was up and running seven days a week, with machines running for up to 12 hours a day.

On one particular day, the team printed 45,000 prints, with the hard work continuing through into July.

Director Lee Craze said: “We are pretty sure this is a record in the UK for the most shirts printed in one day in any facility.

“In 37 years I have never experienced the production levels that I have seen in the last three months. In the last three months we have printed an unbelievable amount of prints totalling to over 2.4 million, this has resulted in record sales for Fresh Air.

“I am incredibly proud of my team at Fresh Air. Their efforts and dedication towards their work (sometimes in a difficult environment due to the heat and long hours) has been truly remarkable and I know I have the best team in the industry.

“With a full order book we continue on our journey.”
