Snap Products and The Pen Warehouse sponsor the BPMA Sustainability Conference

Snap Products and The Pen Warehouse were delighted to sponsor the BPMA Sustainability
Conference on 8th June. The conference, organised by the British Promotional Merchandise
Association (BPMA), brought together industry experts, businesses, and stakeholders to discuss
sustainable practices and promote environmental stewardship within the promotional merchandise
sector.

The conference served as a platform for industry professionals to exchange knowledge, share best
practices, and explore the latest trends in sustainable merchandise. It also marked the official launch
of the BPMA’s StepForward Pledge, an initiative aimed at encouraging and recognising businesses
committed to sustainability.

The conference commenced with a Networking Breakfast, allowing participants to engage with their
peers and establish valuable connections. The day’s programme included speeches by notable
figures and an interactive workshop led by Sarah Duncan, the author of The Sustainable Business
Book. The workshop focussed on assessing the industry’s progress in terms of environmental, social,
and governance (ESG) practices.

Speakers addressed various topics such as certification, recycling, and re-purposing promotional
merchandise. Additionally, end user guests provided insights into their expectations of the industry
regarding sustainability. The conference concluded with a member discussion panel, where
participants shared their learnings and ideas for future sustainable practices.

Anthony Mills, Marketing Manager at Snap Products and The Pen Warehouse, expressed his
satisfaction with the event and emphasised the company’s commitment to incorporating the
discussed topics into their operations. He stated; “The day was truly enjoyable, and our organisation
is fully embracing all the concepts covered.” Additionally, he highlighted the significance of
sustainability as a fundamental aspect of their business strategy and mentioned their ongoing efforts
to develop business and brand/product initiatives centred around sustainability.

The teams at Snap Products and The Pen Warehouse are dedicated to promoting sustainability and
responsible business practices. By attending and sponsoring the BPMA Sustainability Conference,
the business reaffirmed its commitment to supporting a greener and more environmentally
conscious promotional merchandise industry. They have diligently prepared their Sustainability
Statement and are actively completing their StepForward Assessment. The company has embraced
the opportunity to evaluate their current sustainability practices and identify areas for
improvement.
