SOL’S receives triple endorsement for apparel that is sourced and produced responsibly

SOL’S has joined the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) as part of the company’s commitment to the highest ethical and manufacturing standards.

Through its SAC membership SOL’S will use the group’s sustainability measurement tool – the Higg Index – to drive environmental responsibility across its supply chain.

Nearly 160 brands from around the world are members of SAC and are committed to improving supply chain sustainability in the apparel and footwear industries.

SOL’S commitment to excellence also extends to the quality of the supply chain and manufacturing process. One year after initially being awarded the SO 9001: 2008 certification for quality management, an external audit recently confirmed compliance without any reservations.

A third accolade comes from the Fair Wear Foundation. SOL’S Affiliate Membership of FWF has been auidited as ‘good’ after the first six months.

SOL’S founder and chairman, Alain Milgrom, said: “For more than 15 years, SOL’S has been ethically and socially engaged thanks to the commitment of the men and women who make up our team. These values are part of SOL’S DNA, and contribute towards a brand that resellers and end users can trust.”
