Supertouch appoints new business development manager

Darren Bowman joins Supertouch as the company’s new business development manager for the South East.

Mr Bowman will be responsible for expanding and developing the business across the South East, caring for customers, and advising on safety requirements. He will play an essential role, supporting Supertouch in its continued growth.

He joins Supertouch from Global Single Source, an integrated supply solutions provider, where he headed up the PPE sales division in the UK. He has a wealth of experience in sales, including over 13 years specialising in PPE – beginning his career with Greenham Trading.  Mr Bowman is also a BSIF accredited Fit2Fit trainer and tester.

Supertouch executive chairman, Parvez Akhtar, said: “Darren is a highly skilled and well-qualified sales professional with a strong background in PPE and workwear. Last year we experienced significant growth, and with Darren’s help we will be able to achieve further success, while continuing to provide excellent customer care.
