Trespass is one of the UK’s most successful outdoor clothing retailers. First established in 1938, we have been designing and manufacturing outdoor clothing for every adventure, for more than 70 years. In this time we have opened more than 160 UK stores, started to move into the European retail market, developed and expanded a network of wholesale clients across the world and built a thriving e-commerce website.
As our client list expanded, we decided to create a dedicated brand that would provide only the finest, high performance, quality outdoor clothing; the Trespass brand was born in 1984. We started to focus on affordable skiwear and other specialist outdoor clothing and equipment, such as waterproof jackets and walking boots. We have a huge passion for the outdoors and we wanted to show that through our product line.

We have also long been involved in the supply of corporate and promotional clothing, and 2014 saw us take on one of our biggest project yet, as we were chosen as the Official Casual Uniform Provider for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. We designed and manufactured the uniforms worn by the 30,000 volunteers and officials that helped make The Games such a resounding success – our uniforms could be seen throughout the city and were celebrated by all those who wore it. As well as the uniforms for the army of volunteers, we also supplied the uniforms worn by the Queen’s Baton Relay Batonbearers, who were across all the nations and territories of the Commonwealth. And let’s not forget the 700 Trespass pop-up tents which filled the stage at the Glasgow 2014 Closing Ceremony.
