More new colours in garment films

pic 1Grafityp’s best selling range of CAD cut garment films, Grafiflex PS, sees three new colours added – Hemlock, Anthracite and Radiant Orchid. PS is a premium versatile transfer vinyl and an excellent choice whether single or multi-layer applications are performed. It is soft, easy to cut and weed with a very thin finish. The extensive range of films available caters for every type of application on to garments. Manufactured by Siser in Europe, it includes films for both CAD cut and printed work and many special effect films as well as those for application on to difficult fabrics such as nylon or leather.

Printable garment films for something different

All the very latest printable films from Siser making it easy to create unique, intricate, bright, colourful and even  photographic  designs on all kinds of garments and fabrics.

Economical new printable garment transfer film

Tex Print is a new matt solvent/eco solvent inkjet printable low cost textile material, ideal for print and cut applications. It is an 80 micron PU based film and comes on a polyester backing. The printed film is suitable for heat transfer application on to cotton, polyester or blends of these materials.

Printers, print and cut, and UV-machines for everyone

pic 4Up to the minute printers and print and cut machines as they happen. As new machines emerge, they will be added to Grafityp’s ranges from Roland, Mutoh and GCC. Current machines include the VersaStudio BN-20, VersaCAMM SP-i and VS-i ranges, SolJet Pro 4 XR-640  in print and cut, ideal for garment transfers, posters, vehicle graphics and more; RF-640 VersaExpress, SolJet Pro4 XF-640 and UV printers from desktop models up to wide format enabling printing directly to objects all from Roland. Wide range of Eco-Ultra printers from Mutoh in the ValueJet range as well as UV printers from GCC in the form of the JC-241 UV print and cut machine and wide format K72 SUVII StellarJet.

Monofab 3D printers from Roland

pic 5New to Grafityp’s line up in printers are two 3D printers from Roland. The monoFab ARM-10 desktop device incorporates a stereo-lithography process with UV-LED projection system and builds models by sequentially curing layers of resin from a liquid resin vat. Production of multiple objects can be accomplished within the same work area. The imageCure resin becomes semi-transparent when cured. The monoFab SRM-20 3D desktop milling machine delivers accurate, smooth finishes and efficiency in a compact format, including smooth curved surfaces for intricate details and is ideally suited for creating prototypes which require mechanical checks and confirmation of fit. The SRM-20 can mill a variety of non-proprietary material which include modelling board, acrylic and wax. Optional collets are available to extend capability with a wide range of mill shapes and sizes to create intricate details and high quality finishes.

Textile workshop seminars

pic 6Textile workshop seminars in conjunction with Siser will be held during 2015 – dates yet to be finalised, watch out for Grafityp’s email notifications or check on its website.
