Larger sized touch screen have been added to all of GS UK’s new Merlin embroidery machines.

GS UK reports that sales of the Merlin embroidery machines have increased enormously since the first single head appeared on the market in 2011. GS UK’s on-going commitment to the development of the popular embroidery machine range has led to the launch of the third generation touch screen.

This latest industrial touch screen display has a user area measuring 19.5x34cm (overall dimensions 24x39cm). The system comes complete with Windows 10 and is pre-loaded with the versatile Merlin Pro embroidery software suite including Monogram Maestro, all powered by an Intel Quad Core micro PC. This results in a faster, more responsive and more colourful screen area.

This increase in screen size ensures that it is easy to use and feedback from customers has been very positive.

Caroline Tallett, from Workwear & PPE Supplies who has two Merlin four-head machines, said: “I find the new touch screen user friendly and easy to operate. We have doubled our output with the new machine and the quality of the embroidery is fantastic.”

All new single and multi-head Merlin machines will have the new touch screen fitted as standard. For existing Merlin customers the screen is an upgradeable option and can be fitted to any previous models.
