There are frequent Textile Workshop Seminars held in conjunction with Siser, that offer visitors the chance to handle the materials, take advantage of tips and tricks, try out applications and more to help customers obtain the best from the products. The next seminars will be held on September 30 and October 1. There is a small fee to reserve your place at these popular events and delegates will receive a £50 voucher, lunch is included and there are freebies and samples to be had.

As well as the extensive range of garment and textile films for CAD cut and printed transfers, Grafityp supplies a whole host of other elements for the garment decoration business; vinyl cutting plotters, Roland print and cut machines and digital printers which include a sublimation printer, heat transfer presses, tools and accessories.

New products

A number of new products have just been launched to interest garment decorators.

In the best selling Grafiflex PS range there are five trendy new colours; mint, lime, ocean blue, light purple and coral fluorescent. This CAD cut textile vinyl is ideal for multi-layering and the self-adhesive backing aids in weeding and application. The range now has 41 fabulous colours to choose from.

New products to CAD cut films include Brick, Soft and Glitter 2 all produced by Siser in Europe.  Brick is a very thick material, comes in gloss or matt finishes and is available in eight colours.

Soft, also with eight colours to the range, is a very thin, soft film with elastic properties and so, ideal for stretchy textile applications. Glitter 2 is a fabulous range of sparkly films ideal for decorating fashion garments. There are 15 great colours, three of which are neon.

In the C-Print range for digitally printed transfers, Grafityp has C-Print Soft Print Colour in matt or vivid which has high covering power and is ideal for application on to dark fabrics. Perfect for use on print and cut machines such as the Roland VersaCAMM.

Vinyl cutters for CAD cut applications also see some new arrivals. From GCC, the RXII high performance range is available in four widths from 610mm to 1830mm and from Roland a new desktop model is the CAMM-1 GS-24 with a 584mm cutting width.

A new heat transfer press from Siser is the TS-ONE Slide. An advancement on the already popular TS-ONE, this model offers a lower plate slide out as well as the swing away action, great for ease of use.
