The Cotton Group acquires Falk & Ross

Belgium-based The Cotton Group has acquired all of the stock in Falk & Ross, one of the biggest providers of promotional clothing in Europe.

In a statement to clients, The Cotton Group’s managing director, Murielle Degeest, stated that the acquisition ‘marks a significant step in our shared journey towards growth, innovation, and excellence in the textile and wholesale industries’.

She added that Falk & Ross will continue to operate as a multi-brand wholesaler, sticking to its current business strategy. The companies will function as independent enterprises.

Clients will benefit from the transaction since it will enable Falk & Ross and The Cotton Group to combine their respective areas of expertise to provide more value.

Falk & Ross will now sit alongside The Cotton Groups’ six other brands, which includes B&C. According to The Cotton Group, every business has its own management team and headquarters.

Falk & Ross Group Europe previously operated in the UK as majority shareholder of BTC activewear before the distributor was acquired by Sweden-based investor New Wave Group in 2022 for £33 million. Falk & Ross now operates across Europe except the UK.

The Cotton Group, based in Waterloo in Belgium, was acquired by Danish investment firm Dyvig Holdings in 2021 in association with its Danish co-owner, Michael Hauge Sørensen.

The deal’s financial details were not disclosed.
