Dalesway Print Technology has collaborated with GTO to create the Tampolamina machine.

Tampolamina is designed to apply metallic and gloss pigmented foils, as well as multi-coloured transfers, to products made of metal, glass, wood, ceramic, leather, and more with ease and precision.

The machine uses a solvent-based pad print, followed by foil application, achieving cost effective prints on non-flat surfaces.

The patented technology combines the versatility of pad printing with hot stamping, to deliver prints with a mirror-like finish. A special model specifically adapted to print onto shoes further extends its versatility.

The machine’s key features include a soft silicone pad capable of heating from 30°C to 250°C, an automatic transfer displacement system for removing excess glue, and a touch screen interface for easy operation.

Furthermore, Tampolamina has the ability to handle multi-colour transfer prints on diverse substrates, from wooden boxes to glass perfume bottles.

Andrew Stocking from Dalesway Print Technology said: “Tampolamina is the latest innovation from GTO, offering unprecedented customisation options on a wide variety of substrates.”

Mr Stocking added: “Its ability to print on complex and irregular shapes, including shoes, applying either shiny foils or multi-coloured transfers, sets a new industry standard.”
