Dye sublimation and direct to textile inks

UltraChrome DS
UltraChrome DS

Epson developed a four-colour aqueous inkset specifically for use with its SureColor SC-F Series of dye sublimation printers – UltraChrome DS. Also available with an HDK Black ink with a superior black density designed for textiles, users can achieve vibrant colours, dense shadows with a more natural hue and easily controllable grey scale. Users printing on rigid substrates will benefit from the standard black ink as it produces smooth gradations – perfect for the creation of promotional products – with excellent light/wash fastness and abrasion/perspiration resistance. The inks are productive and cost-effective, with excellent nozzle stability for high-speed printing and fast drying times. They are supplied in one litre refill packs to maximise production uptime and deliver a low total cost of ownership.

Epson’s UltraChrome DG ink is developed for Epson’s SureColor SC-F2000 direct-to-textile printer. The four-colour plus white ink comes in 250 or 600ml cartridges and is ideal for printing on dark fabric, producing crisp, even colours and smooth gradation. The ink is stretch resistant and tack-free and produces a finish that is smooth and soft to the touch. The white ink is circulated within the system and has been designed to reduce clogging, which increases productivity, allowing deadlines to be met consistently.

Both ink sets have been awarded a part certification from Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
