Sublimation printing
Sabur Digital has recently increased its co-operation with Korean manufacturer DGI and has a range of products in its show suite including the all new DGI Fabrijet FT-1608 and the Fabrijet FT-1908. These two printers are capable of printing true sublimation prints at 75sq m/hr, with the footprint of a typical standard printer and coming with a three-year warranty.
Hybrid printers are seen as a future growth area with print houses looking to maximise profits by investing in dual types of printing with the financial outlay of one machine. The DGI Fabrijet FT-3204X is a 3.2m printer with dual print capability in its armoury, the FT-3204X will comfortably print both direct to textile and transfer paper alternating between medias as and when required using the same ink set. This remarkable printer single phase printer has a retracting gutter to ensure a quick and easy switch from media to media, and with speeds of 80sq m/h this is truly a contender for machine of the year 2017.
Pigment printing
Pigment printing has seen significant growth in 2017 and with the introduction of the Mimaki TX300P-1800 direct to textile printing using pigment ink has never been so accessible. With a maximum print speed of 68sq m/hr and with a competitively priced ink set with fabulous colour vibrancy, the TX has been a remarkable game changer in the industry.
