Printing sleeves can be a pain, but with this clever addition to the Ricoh Ri 1000’s platen range, socks, sleeves and now even beanie hats can be printed with ease.
When using Resolute’s new custom twin platen, printing time is cut in half with the ability to print two items in a single pass. The custom Resolute RIP that drives the Ricoh Ri 1000 allows for two of the same or different images to be printed at the same time. With an average print time of just 45 seconds for two dark beanie hats it is capable of producing in excess of 100 units per hour.
The modified Ricoh Ri 1000 printer forms part of both Resolute’s Green Button DTG systems.
Coupled with the Viper MAXX area specific pre-treatment machine and Resolute RIP software, the system is one of the easiest and most economical to use. The Green Button systems are already proving to be very economical to run, with the launch of new high capacity 500ml ink cartridge, ink costs will be reduced as will the amount of materials used in manufacture.
All Resolute’s Green Button systems come with mainland UK delivery, installation, training, Resolute RIP software and new augmented reality support system included.
