Portuguese fashion manufacturer Meamstyle has expanded its digital textile production capabilities with the installation of two Kornit Atlas MAX PLUS systems.
The second-generation family business, which was founded almost 28 years ago, has evolved from producing jersey garments such as T-shirts and sweatshirts into a diversified apparel manufacturer serving the fashion, haute couture, swimwear, shirts, dresses and premium garment markets.
Meamstyle operates both a full-package garment manufacturing business and a dedicated digital printing division, supporting its own production alongside external customers.
The company selected the Atlas MAX PLUS platform based on its print quality, production speed, flexibility and advanced print capabilities, with the investment intended to support faster turnaround times and more flexible manufacturing.
Pedro Mendes, chief commercial officer of Meamstyle, said: “Today, customers come to us for quality, flexibility, and technical capability. For me personally, Kornit is the benchmark for digital textile printing. We have years of experience with digital printing, and the quality, hand feel, color performance, and durability from Kornit are unmatched.”
Guy Yaniv, president of Kornit Digital Europe, said: “Meamstyle represents a new generation of agile European fashion manufacturers leveraging digital production to support premium-quality apparel manufacturing and responsive supply chain models.”
